What is Domain Authority and Spam Score?
Domain Authority
Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that shows how likely a website is to appear on the first page of search engine results pages.
From the score of Domain Authority, the reliability and prestige of individual news sites can also be inferred indirectly.
Domain Authority above 30 is considered good.
Spam Score
The Spam Score indicates how likely a news site is to contain unwanted content. Again, the scale ranges from 0 to 100, where a higher value indicates a greater chance of spam.
A Spam Score below 30 is considered good.
How relevant are the two indicators?
In the case of young news sites and websites, the above two indicators are not necessarily relevant because it is not certain that they have had enough time to acquire a sufficient number and quality of external links. Consequently, a high DA value can also mean that the given news site or website has been present on the Internet for a long time.
Of course, news sites and websites with a lower DA value can also contain quality content.
